Another huge bold colorful abstract acrylic painting created during an abstraction class. This one began as a deconstructed line drawing of two acoustic guitars and evolved from there. The feeling of rhythm from the repeating shapes, patterns and colors remains.

Due to the large size and material [masonite board] and heavy frame, this original painting can only be purchased locally in the Charleston, South Carolina area since it cannot be shipped easily/inexpensively. It must be picked up by the purchaser.

This painting was done during a recent workshop with Carol McGill in Charleston, South Carolina. Our goal was to choose a subject [mine started as an abstracted face with wavy hair] and then play with the shapes and lines to create an abstracted design. I learned alot and had a great time! This was the first time I tried white outlines on my “pop art” instead of black and I really like how it pops the colors so I expect to use this technique again soon!
